🎬 1. Prepare Your Space
Before lowering the screen:
Close the curtains directly in front of the bed
Gently smooth them so they sit as flat as possible.
This creates the perfect backdrop for the projector and gives you the best picture quality.
🎬 2. Lowering the Screen
Look for the black remote mounted on the wall above the bedhead.
Press:
⬇ The Down Arrow
to lower the motorised Vividstorm screen.
To raise the screen later, press:
⬆ The Up Arrow
The screen will glide quietly into place — no force needed.
📽️ 3. Turning On the Projector
Your XGIMI Horizon Pro remote is placed on the bedside table next to the lamp.
To turn it on:
Press the Power button once.
The projector will automatically focus and adjust itself.
You will see the home menu appear on the screen.
📱 4. Ways to Watch
Choose whichever method feels easiest for you:
Option A — Log Into Your Own Streaming Services
Open your favourite streaming app (Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, etc.) on the projector and sign in with your own account.
You will be automatically logged out at checkout.
Option B — Built-In Chromecast
- Open the streaming app on your phone
- Tap the Cast icon
- Select XGIMI Horizon Pro
- Play anything you like
Option C — Screen Mirroring
iPhone
- Swipe down → Screen Mirroring → choose the XGIMI
Android
- Smart View / Cast Screen → select XGIMI
Your device will mirror whatever you choose to play.
🔊 5. Adjusting Sound & Settings
Use the XGIMI remote to adjust:
- Volume
- Picture mode
- Input
- Brightness
Everything has been kept simple and intuitive.
🌙 6. Turning Everything Off
When you’re ready to unwind:
Turn off the projector
Press the Power button → Confirm.
(The fan will run quietly for a few seconds — this is normal.)
Raise the screen
Press the ⬆ Up Arrow on the black wall remote above the bedhead.

- Closing the curtains first gives the sharpest image
- Dim the lights for a cosy cinema feel
- Ensure your phone is connected to your home’s WiFi when casting
- Relax back into bed with your favourite drink
