How to Use the Powder Shampoo & Conditioner

Step 1: Wet

Before using powder shampoo, it’s important to wet your hair thoroughly. This will help to activate the powder and create a lather. Without wetting your hair, the shampoo won’t cleanse properly so this is crucial. 

Step 2: Sprinkle

Pour a small amount of powder shampoo either onto your wet palm or sprinkle directly onto your wet scalp and hair. Lathering in your palm first can help to distribute the product more quickly, but this is entirely personal preference – both ways work equally well.

Step 3: Lather

Using your fingers, massage the powder shampoo into your scalp and hair to create a lather. Be sure to massage your scalp well to remove any dirt, styling product, or buildup.

Step 4: Rinse

Once you’ve lathered your hair and scalp for several minutes (or as long as your particular scalp and hair need – everyone is different!), rinse your hair thoroughly with water, as normal, to remove the powder shampoo.
